Hi! My name is Teofil Achirei. I'm a 23 years old student from Iasi, Romania. I'm interested in web applications development, web-desktop integration and web mining. In the following months I'll work on some projects related with web mining and web-desktop integration:

• a simple focused web crawler in Java
• a distributed focus web crawler in Java: my graduation project
• temporal analysis of web trends: .NET web & RSS crawler
• Skin and template support for XOffice: project for GSoC 2009
• custom essay

All my projects I'll list here (by creating a space & some pages) are open source. I'll be glad if you would come with ideas, comments, bug reporting, code and so on. However, until I release it, my graduation project is… mine. That means you can use the source code and come with your ideas, comments, bug reports, but not with your own code because this project has to be my work only.

You can find more about me on my web mining weblog: http://teofilachirei.wordpress.com. The simple focused web spider will be the basis for my distributed focused web crawler. My ideas for XOffice will be on this space. Since I'm very interested in XOffice, all the pages from XOffice space will be created and edited using XWord.
